Soapi: How the Magnetic Soap Holder Works and What It Is Made Of
Soapi is a magnetic soap holder for bar soap and solid shampoo. Instead of sitting in a soap dish, your soap hangs on the wall, dries all around and lasts longer. Here is how it works and what it is made of.
What Soapi is made of
The housing is moulded from recycled plastic containing around 90% discarded fishing nets and ropes. Our plastic supplier in Denmark buys nets and ropes from the fishing industry once they can no longer be used, then cleans and shreds them. We mould the Soapi from this granulate in Berlin. To be clear: these are nets from the fishing industry, not nets recovered from the sea.

Minimal design, everyday benefits
Soapi's design is the definition of minimalism. Its compact shape takes up almost no space, which makes it a good fit for any bathroom, regardless of size. Press any bottle cap you like, for example from a cola or beer bottle, into your soap, and the magnet holds it. Your soap stays dry and lasts longer, and it keeps the sink clean. A bottle cap is usually thrown away after one use, with Soapi it gets a second job. The clean, modern look of Soapi fits almost any interior and is available in 10 colours.
A small change in the bathroom
Switching to bar soap or solid shampoo saves the plastic bottle. Soapi makes that switch easier, because a dry bar is nicer to use and lasts longer. Soapi is moulded and assembled in Berlin and comes with a 10-year durability guarantee.
